2012 convention appearances and other news

Now that March is winding down and April is around the corner, it's time for me to announce my convention appearances for 2012! I've got three this year (up from one in 2011), and they're all incredible fun, from what I've heard. Will I be coming to your town?

April 21: Fluke (Athens, GA)
Last fall I tabled at OktöberFLUKE, and this spring I'm ready to take on the main event! If you're a Southerner with an appetite for minicomics and zines, this is the show for you.
April 28-29: Stumptown Comics Fest (Portland, OR)
Portland, you guys! The comics capital of the country! And I'll be tabling and having all around good times all weekend long.
September 15-16: Small Press Expo (Bethesda, MD)
Come for me, of course, but stay for the Hernandez Brothers. Dan Clowes. Guys, Chris Ware is at this show. And tons of other talented folks as well. You can not miss this show.

As usual, O Human Star is updating twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays. My biggest project this month is getting a complete Chapter 1 to the printers so I can have a book for sale at all of my scheduled convention appearances.
Why buy a book version of O Human Star? Other than the joy of having a high-quality physical copy in your hands to hold and cherish forever? Well, if you're coming to Fluke or Stumptown, you'd be buying the entirety of Chapter 1, meaning you'll get to read to the end of the chapter a full month before it's all online.

That said, getting ahead on O Human Star has left me positively beat. It's crunch time to get stuff done for the first two cons next month, plus regular work and other stuff besides.  It'll be worth it when all is said and done, but bluggggh.

Clap your hands if you're working too hard
