The marathon itself was a huge success. The audience was supplied with the highest quality pre-Thanksgiving snacks ever: clementines from Spain and chocolate from the budget grocery store! Add that to six hours of the best television show ever produced, and you're golden. And for many people, it was their first time watching it, which is even better. And if you haven't seen it yet? Also, a bit of record-keeping for future people. I guess everyone was making a big deal about something or other a week ago, so I took some photos of what the fuss was all about...
Yes, Obama won. And Jon Stewart looks amused. Seriously, though, congratulations to the Prez-El. Even though I couldn't be in my home country for the most astounding event in seven years, I'm definitely feeling the American pride, and I'm glad I recorded the moment.
