Do you know what month it is? DO YOU?

DO YOU?
It's October, that's what month it is! And with a new month comes a new desktop. Here's a screenshot of the new one:

If a desktop like that doesn't tell you how excited I am for Japan, I don't know what will.
Okay, so that's news. I'll be exploring the land of the rising sun for a few weeks this month, so I'll only have one more update or two before I'm off. But when I get back, there'll be a whole buncha updates, so it evens out.

Not much to show this week - I've been tying up a bunch of odds and ends at school before I go. Also: midterms. But I'm excited for this Friday because of a small get-together I commandeered. Bet you didn't think Japan and Halloween could go together, right?
Well, then you'd be mistaken. Because I'm hosting a Death Note marathon.
Anyone who actually reads this blog might remember that almost exactly a year ago, I started watching Death Note, and was absolutely blown away. So I thought I'd return the favor this year.

The poster was a lot of fun to do, because describing the premise of any anime series is automatically hilarious. Think I went a little nuts with the gradients, but overall I thought it turned out okay. Hopefully the marathon itself will be fun.

Hopefully more soon.
